2. Collection, processing and use of personal data
Personal data is data relating to the material or personal connections of a specific or identifiable natural person. These include, for example, your name, telephone number, address and all the basic data you provided to us when registering and creating a customer account.
2.1 Customer account For each customer who registers on our website using the "Create account" function, we create a customer account, ie a password-protected direct access to the user's basic data stored with us. Here, the user can view, among other things, his completed, ongoing and recently sent orders or manage his personal data and the newsletter.
2.1.1 Creating a customer account

If the user does not log out of his customer account, he remains logged in automatically. This feature allows you to use some of our services without having to log in to your customer account again. We collect, save and process your data as part of the purchase process, including any subsequent warranties, for the purpose of providing our services, for technical administration purposes, for our own marketing purposes (more on this in section 2.3) and to prevent illegal acts and fraud. . 2.3.3 Banner advertising

During the next visit, the website automatically recognizes the user and the information and settings he prefers. Temporary and permanent cookies (storage period from 1 month to 10 years) are saved on the hard drive of the user's computer and are automatically deleted after a specified period of time. These cookies are used to make our offer even more effective, safer and more user-friendly. Thanks to these files, it is possible to present the user with information tailored to his interests. The only purpose of cookies is to adapt our offer to the customer's expectations as well as possible and thus make it easier for him to navigate our website.
What data is stored in cookies?
Only pseudonymised data is stored in the cookies used by Gofrex. When a cookie is activated, it is assigned an identification number without assigning the user's personal data to this identification number. The first and last name, IP address or similar data of the user that allows the cookie to be directly assigned to the user are not saved in the cookie. Based on the cookie technology, we only obtain pseudonymised information, for example about which pages of our store the user has visited, which products have been viewed, etc.
What is Onsite Targeting?
On the basis of cookie technology, data is collected on the Gofrex websites in order to optimize our advertising and the entire offer of the online store. This data is not used to identify the user, but is only used for pseudonymised analysis of the use of the website. Thanks to this technology, we can present the user with advertising and / or special offers and services, the content of which is based on information obtained from the analysis of mouse clicks (for example, an advertisement resulting from the fact that in recent days the user has only viewed bubble waffle irons). Our goal is to make our online offer as attractive as possible for you and to present you with advertising that corresponds to your areas of interest.
Are third party cookies also used (so-called third party cookies)?
Gofrex works with some advertising companies that help make websites more attractive to users. Therefore, when visiting websites, cookies from partner companies are also saved on the user's hard drive. These are temporary / permanent cookies that are automatically deleted after a specified period of time. 4. Log files
During each visit to the Gofrex websites, the web browser provides data on user behavior, which is stored in log files, so-called server log files. Data records saved in this way contain the following data: date and time of download, name of the page opened, IP address, URL of the reference page (address of the page from which the user was redirected), the amount of data downloaded, as well as information about the product version of the web browser used.
These log file data records are analyzed by us in order to optimize the offer and create the most user-friendly Gofrex store possible, as well as faster error detection and correction and server performance management. In addition, we use log file data records to protect against attacks on our Gofrex store, e.g. as part of so-called distributed denial of service attacks, the purpose of which is to block access to our store by overloading with inquiries.
5. Internet analysis
In order to constantly optimize and improve our offer, we use so-called tracking technologies. We use Google Analytics and Webtrekk for this purpose.
5.1 Google Analytics
This website uses the web analysis service Google (Universal) Analytics from Google Inc. (www.google.pl). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of the user's use of the website, such as cookies, which are text files that are stored on the user's computer. The information generated in this way about your visit to this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If the IP anonymization function is activated on this website, the user's IP address is shortened by Google before its transmission within the Member States of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. 5.2 Webtrekk
In addition, we use technologies from Webtrekk GmbH, Boxhagener Str. 76-78, 10245 Berlin (www.webtrekk.de) for statistical analysis of the website. With the help of the Webtrekk services, we collect statistical data on the use of our website. These data are used to constantly optimize and improve the Gofrex store and our offer to make it more attractive for the user. Webtrekk GmbH is certified by TÜV Saarland for data protection with the web controlling software used by Gofrex. In particular, the control and certification covered the collection and processing of tracking data in terms of compliance with data protection and data security rules.
