3. Cookies (cookies)

Accepting cookies is a prerequisite for using our websites. However, if the user blocks the use of cookies, our website will only function based on limited functions.

What are cookies (cookies)?

Cookies are small files saved on the user's data carrier, used by the user's browser to save certain settings and data for exchange with our system. There are two types of cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted when the user closes the browser, and temporary / permanent cookies that are stored for a longer period or permanently on the user's data carrier. Thanks to the storage of these files, we can properly prepare our website and our offer in terms of user preferences. This makes it easier for the user to use the website, for example by saving certain user data so that he does not have to enter it every time.

What cookies does Gofrex use?

Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from the user's hard drive after the end of the browser session (so-called session cookies). For example, session cookies are used to offer the user the shopping cart function on multiple pages of the website. In addition, we also use cookies stored on the user's hard drive. During the next visit, the website automatically recognizes the user and the information and settings he prefers. Temporary and permanent cookies (storage period from 1 month to 10 years) are saved on the hard drive of the user's computer and are automatically deleted after a specified period of time. These cookies are used to make our offer even more effective, safer and more user-friendly. Thanks to these files, it is possible to present the user with information tailored to his interests. The only purpose of cookies is to adapt our offer to the customer's expectations as well as possible and thus make it easier for him to navigate our website.

What data is stored in cookies?

Only pseudonymised data is stored in the cookies used by Gofrex. When a cookie is activated, it is assigned an identification number without assigning the user's personal data to this identification number. The first and last name, IP address or similar data of the user that allows the cookie to be directly assigned to the user are not saved in the cookie. Based on the cookie technology, we only obtain pseudonymised information, for example about which pages of our store the user has visited, which products have been viewed, etc.

What is Onsite Targeting?

On the basis of cookie technology, data is collected on the Gofrex websites in order to optimize our advertising and the entire offer of the online store. This data is not used to identify the user, but is only used for pseudonymised analysis of the use of the website. Thanks to this technology, we can present the user with advertising and / or special offers and services, the content of which is based on information obtained from the analysis of mouse clicks (for example, an advertisement resulting from the fact that in recent days the user has only viewed bubble waffle irons). Our goal is to make our online offer as attractive as possible for you and to present you with advertising that corresponds to your areas of interest.

Are third party cookies also used (so-called third party cookies)?

Gofrex works with some advertising companies that help make websites more attractive to users. Therefore, when visiting websites, cookies from partner companies are also saved on the user's hard drive. These are temporary / permanent cookies that are automatically deleted after a specified period of time. Temporary and permanent cookies (storage period from 14 days to 10 years) are saved on the hard drive of the user's computer and are automatically deleted after a specified period of time. Also, cookies of partner companies contain only pseudonymised data, usually anonymous data. This is, for example, information about what products the user viewed, made a purchase, what products he was looking for, etc. Some of our partners also collect information about

Retargeting

Our websites use so-called retargeting technology. We use this technology to be able to offer users a more attractive Internet offer. It allows you to present users who are interested in our store and our products, appropriate advertising on the websites of our partners. We are convinced that the display of personalized, interest-related advertising is generally more attractive to the user than advertising that does not have such an individual relationship. The display of these advertising materials on the websites of our partners is based on cookie technology and the analysis of previous user behavior. This form of advertising is carried out completely anonymously.

When using our website, cookies are used to collect, save and use data about user behavior. In addition, user data contained in cookies is stored after the end of the browser session and, for example, used during the next visit to the website.

How can you block the saving of cookies?

The browser has settings that allow you to accept cookies only if the user agrees. This way you can prevent cookies from being saved in the future. To accept the use of Gofrex cookies, while blocking the use of third-party cookies, select the option "Blocking third-party website cookies" in your browser settings.

As a rule, in the menu bar of the web browser, you can get information on how to reject new cookies and disable saved cookies via the help function.

4. Log files

During each visit to the Gofrex websites, the web browser provides data on user behavior, which is stored in log files, so-called server log files. Data records saved in this way contain the following data: date and time of download, name of the page opened, IP address, URL of the reference page (address of the page from which the user was redirected), the amount of data downloaded, as well as information about the product version of the web browser used.

These log file data records are analyzed by us in order to optimize the offer and create the most user-friendly Gofrex store possible, as well as faster error detection and correction and server performance management. In addition, we use log file data records to protect against attacks on our Gofrex store, e.g. as part of so-called distributed denial of service attacks, the purpose of which is to block access to our store by overloading with inquiries.

5. Internet analysis

In order to constantly optimize and improve our offer, we use so-called tracking technologies. We use Google Analytics and Webtrekk for this purpose.

5.1 Google Analytics

This website uses the web analysis service Google (Universal) Analytics from Google Inc. (www.google.pl). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of the user's use of the website, such as cookies, which are text files that are stored on the user's computer. The information generated in this way about your visit to this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If the IP anonymization function is activated on this website, the user's IP address is shortened by Google before its transmission within the Member States of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymized IP address sent by the user's browser as part of the Google Analytics service is not combined with other Google data. The user can prevent the data generated by the cookie relating to his use of the website (including the IP address) from being sent to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following address:http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=pl .

Alternatively, you can also click on this link to prevent Google Analytics from storing data on this website in the future. An opt-out cookie is then stored on the user's device. After deleting the cookies, click on the link again.

5.2 Webtrekk

In addition, we use technologies from Webtrekk GmbH, Boxhagener Str. 76-78, 10245 Berlin (www.webtrekk.de) for statistical analysis of the website. With the help of the Webtrekk services, we collect statistical data on the use of our website. These data are used to constantly optimize and improve the Gofrex store and our offer to make it more attractive for the user. Webtrekk GmbH is certified by TÜV Saarland for data protection with the web controlling software used by Gofrex. In particular, the control and certification covered the collection and processing of tracking data in terms of compliance with data protection and data security rules. When using these websites, data transmitted by the user's browser is collected and analyzed. For this purpose, the technology of cookies and so-called pixels, integrated into each website, is used. In this way, the following data is collected: query (name of the called file), browser type and version, browser language, operating system used, internal browser window resolution, screen resolution, Javascript activation, Java on / off, cookies on / off, color depth , Reference page URL, IP address (only saved anonymously and deleted immediately after use), time of visit, clicks, order value, baskets and anonymised form content (for example, whether a telephone number is provided or not). Direct identification of the person is not possible at any time. The data collected in this way is used to create anonymous user profiles that constitute the basis for web statistics. The data collected via Webtrekk technology is not used for the individual identification of the user of these websites without the express consent of the user and at no time is it combined with personal data by the person bearing the pseudonym.

You can revoke your consent to the collection and storage of data by Webtrekk at any time with effect for the future. To do this, open the following link: https://www.webtrekk.com/en/index/opt-out-webtrekk

After confirmation of the link, an opt-out cookie is placed on the user's data carrier. It is valid for 5 years. Please note that after deleting all cookies from your computer, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted, i.e. in order for Webtrekk to revoke your consent to anonymised data collection, it is necessary to set the opt-out cookie again. The opt-out cookie is associated with the respective browser on the computer. If you visit our pages from home and work, or using different browsers, you must activate the opt-out cookie on different browsers and on different computers.
